WantToGoOut.com the totally free online friendship and dating site has been offline since the early evening of May 31st, 2008.    The data center where our dedicated servers are located had gotten struck by lightning, and then a transformer blew up, this knocked down a few walls, and that is where our server is located.    Through the selective words that "theplanet" has been offering us, we are told no data has been lost, but as of now June 2nd 2008 WantToGoOut.com will not be online again until some time late this evening.

I just read an article about something called hypermiling.    To me it does not sound like the safest way to save gas.    I have been totally successful in saving gas by slowing down.    Yes some road raging idiots driving huge gas guzzlers were getting mad at me a while ago, but i follow the speed limit and that definitely helps me save on gas.    Another great way ive been saving gas is by coasting.  First of all i have a manual transmission.   So while im driving i start out in either 1st or 2nd gear, but then i skip to fourth and if going down a hill i can even skip right to 5th gear.    When i am going down a hill i find it very easy for me to keep up the speed while coasting in neutral.    This blog was in response to an article i read about hypermiling
